Researchers from the University of Cambridge are crowd-sourcing data to study the genetics of Autism

The research group led by Professor Simon Baron-Cohen at the University of Cambridge are running a study looking at the genetics associated with with autism. All adults (over 16 years old) are welcome to participate, whether you have an autism diagnosis or not. As with all studies on Heterogeneous, you own all of your data and can choose exactly who has access to it and what research you want to support. If you have genetic data from 23andMe they can use this data in the study, but it is not a requirement for participation. For participants who have not had their genomes sequenced, free genome-sequencing may be provided in the future for some participants in the study by Heterogeneous or by the researchers.
